TorMee – Privacy Policy

TorMee ("the App") is a household management application. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to operate the service:

• Google Sign-In data – your name and email address, provided when you sign in with Google.
• User-created content – tasks, reminders, household data, expense records, grocery lists, and other content you create inside the App.
• Push notification tokens – a device token used to send you push notifications. This token is stored securely and is not shared with third parties.
• Profile information – optional display name, phone number, and profile photo that you may add in the App settings.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate you and maintain your session.
• To provide the core functionality of the App (task management, household coordination, expense tracking, etc.).
• To send you push notifications relevant to your household activity.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. Your data is used solely to operate and improve the TorMee service.

Household members you invite may see your display name, profile photo (if set to public), and phone number (if set to public) within the shared household view.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on a secure server. We use HTTPS for all communications between the App and our servers.

5. Data Retention & Account Deletion

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data directly from within the app: go to Settings → Delete Account. Alternatively, you may contact us at the email address below to request deletion.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
